Have any of you ever played the International Holiday Traditions Matching Game in the Libeary? It’s only playable when the North Pole is open and the holiday décor is up. If you don’t know where in the Libeary it is, which you should, you need to click the globe on the table:
But this post isn’t to describe the game itself (which is essentially Bears and Pairs with a holiday theme), it’s to post pictures of the holiday traditions. 😛 The order is the order I took the pictures in.
Did you know about any of these traditions? Maybe you and/or your country celebrates them. In Canada, things work pretty similarly to how they do in the US, but there is no unofficial “date” to start celebrating (whereas a lot of people in the US start getting ready for the holidays after their Thanksgiving), leading to some people and a lot of stores having Christmas and other holiday decorations up after Halloween. For the record, I am not one of those people. 😛
Do you have another holiday tradition that isn’t listed above? Even if it’s something only you/your family does, I’d still love to hear about it in the comments! 🙂
